Paisley Community Trust (PCT) is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation – SCIO.
The charitable purposes of the SCIO are:
- The advancement of community development through provision of and participation in a community-led venue for cinema, arts and theatre in Paisley, Renfrewshire;
- The advancement of the arts and culture in Paisley and Renfrewshire; through providing entertainment for the public and providing an environment for local talent to flourish;
The advancement of education for the public; in the arts and performance as well as key skills which will improve employability through training, volunteering and employment opportunities;
The promotion of such other similar charitable purposes.
Membership is open to any individual or nominated representative of an organisation who subscribe to the purposes and constitution of the organisation.
As a member, you will be encouraged to attend meetings, offer comment, consultation, support, guidance or expertise and may take part in activities as agreed and deemed appropriate by the charity trustees.
You will receive regular updates and receive an invitation to General, Annual General and Extraordinary General Meetings held.
Membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. Members may cancel their membership at any time in writing to the Board of Trustees at the registered office. The Board may also decline or terminate membership for particular reasons. The Board may at its discretion, refuse to admit any person or organisation to membership.
